  • Condenser- The condenser is the part that actually cools the refrigerant. It is usually found at the front of the vehicle near the radiator.
  • Drier- The drier serves as a storage unit for the refrigerant and it absorbs moisture from the refrigerant and filters out any harmful particles that could impair your air conditioning system. Most people don’t realize that this part is something that should be changed every 3-5 years.
  • Evaporator- This is the part that removes heat from the inside of your vehicle. This is probably the most important part of your air conditioning system because it is directly related to the temperature inside the vehicle and responsible for your maintaining your comfort levels.
  • Orifice tube/expansion valve- This is the part responsible for controlling the flow of refrigerant into your air conditioning system.
